The following Fortran code snippet causes an ICE (segfault) when compiled
with "-fipa-pta -O":

Confirmed, but since the Fortran compiler has some issues with creating DECLs
refering to the same function, it might become hard to fix this without a
front-end fix.

The problem disappeared on the 4.2 branch (already for GCC 4.2.0), but is still
present on the trunk.

Since the 4.2 branch doesn't show the bug, we have a regression.

The testcase crashes mainline again with a different ICE:

bug.f: In function 'bar':
bug.f:2: error: stmt (0x4001a0b0) marked modified after optimization pass: 
foo (&C.498);
bug.f:2: internal compiler error: verify_ssa failed
