Do we really want to do this any more?

I nobody objects, I'll close this as WONTFIX in a few days.

I think some are still interested in F; however, as it is does not support the
new Fortran 2003/2008 features, I see it as dead end similar to HPF
(high-performance Fortran). [Well, seemingly not even F90's namelists are
supported :-(] Thus I'm in favour for WONTFIX - especially as even the bug
reporter is no longer interested ;-)

Confirmed, I don't know useful this really is as I seen recently a large number of bugs about namelist
which is not in "F".

Oh, by the way how can they trademark a single letter.

> What is the difference between f and the standardized versions of fortran?

F is a subset of Fortran 95.

A list of features not in F95 is at http://www.fortran.com/F/f90_not_f.html .
