I just tried to compile the recent Linux kernel 2.6.29.4
with the GNU gcc version 4.5 snapshot 20090604.

The compiler said

arch/x86/kernel/io_apic.c:4182:1: internal compiler error: in
generate_subtree_copies, at tree-sra.c:1702
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.

Preprocessed source code attached. Flag -O2 required.
