The *.i files compile without ICE, see comment #3:

Extra diagnostic checks enabled; compiler may run slowly.
Configure with --enable-checking=release to disable checks.
>From what I can grab from the different failures, I got the impression that
'/usr/include/float.h' is not properly included, but this is indeed an
uneducated guess.
