Hi,
I don't have iostream.h in /usr/inlude /usr/include/g++ or other inlucde
directory, don't have libg++ package either.
Does libg++ and iostream.h come with the package gcc-2.8.1.tar source file?
Thanks.

In the gcc-2.8.1 days (1998), libg++/libstdc++ was a separate package
from gcc. So you have to build and install a separate package on top of
gcc.
Since 1998, the C++ library is distributed as part of the gcc package.
libg++ has long ago been discontinued. It was replaced with libstdc++.
