Law --- Aldy, the trick is to not build the C++ runtime ;-) So instead of "make" use "make all-gcc && make all-target-libgcc" to build = the compiler and libgcc runtime. Then use "make install-gcc install-target-lib= gcc" to install the compiler and libgcc runtime. Once that completes you can proceed to build & install newlib. Make sure to use the same --prefix for each component (binutils-gdb, gcc, newlib) and they should.=
