Bug ID: 107911
Summary: Remove problematic language from libtool.m4
Product: gcc
Version: 12.2.1
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: other
Assignee: unassigned at gcc dot gnu.org
Reporter: alakatos at redhat dot com
Target Milestone: ---
Hello,
We use some internal tools to detect problematic language(master, slave,
black-list, white-list, etc...) inside the project. We identified the use of
"master" inside the libtool generic library support script.
Would it be possible to remove harmful language from the the gcc/libtool.m4
file?
The mentioned code block is located at:
https://github.com/gcc-mirror/gcc/blob/master/libtool.m4#L1064 and it's
connected with Darwin linker features.
Thanks,
Attila Lakatos
