From: "cvoica at gmail dot com" <gcc-bugzilla@gcc.gnu.org> To: gcc-bugs@gcc.gnu.org Subject: [Bug c++/114410] compiler issue in reference_binding when using rvalue reference to member of const object Date: Thu, 21 Mar 2024 09:26:44 +0000 [thread overview] Message-ID: <bug-114410-4-zIwvyMz2D7@http.gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/> (raw) In-Reply-To: <bug-114410-4@http.gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/> https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=114410 --- Comment #4 from Cristian VOICA <cvoica at gmail dot com> --- I'm also trying to understand another thing. Perhaps you can point me to where to read more about it as I was not expecting casting to a non-const reference to work for a member in a const object. Is there a warning for (std::string&)a->m_i on "const A* a" ? Thx!
