Making cgg on Mac Mini G5 with OSX 10.4 aborts with


checking for C compiler default output file name... a.out
checking whether the C compiler works... configure: error: cannot run C
compiled programs.
If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.
See `config.log' for more details.
make[1]: *** [configure-target-libstdc++-v3] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2
