In previous tarballs, INSTALL contained the config/build/etc. instructions as HTML files. I haven't seen anything that would suggest that it is not intended to be the case anymore: gcc-4.2.0/README and gcc-4.2.0/INSTALL/README haven't changed in years... -- Summary: gcc-4.2.0.tar.bz2 is missing INSTALL html files Product: gcc Version: 4.2.0 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: c AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org ReportedBy: simon dot marshall at misys dot com http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=31958
