Earlier discussion about soft-fp warnings went like this:
> > I noticed that there are no prototypes in soft-fp directory, and some warnings
> > during the compilation are generated due to this fact. Do you see the same
> > problem for rs6000 soft-fp or is there a special compile setting that should
> > be used in soft-fp case?
If you wish to add prototypes so all the functions have a declaration
before they are defined, feel free to try to get such a patch past Jakub
and libc-alpha.

Is this a valid bug? Really, you should split the bug into components so the
respective maintainers can know about their corresponding warnings. Not
everybody reads all PRs.
