I'm seeing a regression in gcc-4.2.2 prerelease:

FAIL: g++.dg/other/unused1.C scan-assembler
(string|ascii?)z?\\t"class2("|\\\\\\\\000)

The failure happens on multiple (all?) configurations starting around Sept
13th:
