FWIW, EGLIBC has a fix to allow it to build for x86 when unwind tables are enabled by default: 2009-06-25 Kazu Hirata <kazu@codesourcery.com> * sysdeps/i386/Makefile (CFLAGS-initfini.s): Add -fno-asynchronous-unwind-tables and -fno-unwind-tables.
