int main(int argc, char** argv)
{
        vector float v =  { 1, 1, 1, 1 };
        vector float* vp = &v;
        fprintf(stderr, "%f\n",v[0]);       // OK
        fprintf(stderr, "%f\n",vp[0][0]);   // internal compiler error:
Segmentation fault
        return 0;
}

or:

#include <altivec.h>

------- Comment #1 from pinskia at gcc dot gnu dot org 2008-02-07 15:27 -------
First off this is not a bug in the FSF GCC as the FSF GCC does not support
vector array access syntax so this should have been filed with the provider
that gave you the source. Second off this has been since fixed in IBM's SDK
(but not yet released IIRC) (I should know I fixed it).

When this goes into the FSF GCC (which might be later next month if I get some
time), it should be fixed here too.
