I have installed the GCC distribution downloaded from: http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/p/os/aix/linux/toolbox/download.html The installed packages are: gcc-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm gcc-cplusplus-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm libgcc-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm libstdcplusplus-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm libstdcplusplus-devel-4.2.0-3.aix5.3.ppc.rpm I'm trying to compile some code that uses the Boost C++ libraries (http://www.boost.org/) but I often get an internal compiler error. For example, a source file "test.cpp" with this only line: #include <boost/filesystem/fstream.hpp> compiled with: g++ -v -save-temps -I/home2/install/gcc/boost_1_35_0 -c test.cpp results in: Using built-in specs.
