I am not sure where the other 8GB goes when our IL is believed to be major memory consumer and it resists almost completely in GGC memory. perhaps some of the streaming hashtables gets out of control. Also it seems that line number info is about 1GB. It may be win to write better streaming of locations. Current one enables almost no reuse of locators. Honza
