It is needed (with the gtype.state file) for users coding GCC plugins with GTY-s, to generate the gt-plugin.h file from the users' plugin.h plugin1.c plugin2.c files. See http://gcc.gnu.org/ml/gcc-patches/2010-11/msg02591.html It shold be installed, but I don't understand all the details. and I am not able to provide a patch. Apparently, gengtype should be compiled both for host & build, but I cannot figure out how to do that and how to install it.
