If I did not do any mistake, the patch in comment #21 fixes this PR (AFAICT),
but cause the following regression (on x86_64-apple-darwin10 with -m32):

f951: internal compiler error: Segmentation fault

The backtrace is

Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory.
