It happens when building GCC with -flto -O3 -march=pentium4 options:

Preprocessed source files in .tar.lz archive

I tried to minimize the testcase with Delta, but unfortunately it does not fail
with other GCC build after that.

Somehow related to garbage collection, it depended on
ggc-min-heapsize/ggc-min-expand params.

I can't reproduce it now, but see H.J. Lu's bug 48849...
