Basically something needs to avoid building the C++ runtime for the 16 
bit models of the H8.  I don't think we have any configury magic for that.

As noted in 21530, we don't currently support C++ on the H8 series. The way to
fix things is to somehow avoid building libstdc++ on the original H8/300, but
allow it to build on H8/300H and later variants.

Nobody is currently working on this.
