Hi,
this is not really expected. TLS was apparently binutils bug, while the
stringop-asm is linker plugin only problem (I sent 3 different fixes for that,
each of them wrong since we can't really immitate here the non-LTO behaviour
without tracking for every statement the originating LTO object file).
What problem you get on hppa? Are you using plugin there?

--- Comment #14 from Jan Hubicka <hubicka at gcc dot gnu.org> 2011-09-27 16:42:57 UTC ---
It turns out that I forgot to commit the libstrstr patch and in meantime
configure script was modified so it no longer enabled -fuse-linker-plugin by
default. Since I tend to always specify it by hand I did not noticed for quite
a while.
I suppose the problem is that I have plugin enabled LD in my install directory
while configure script is incorrectly querying the system wide LD?
Anyway testsuite should be clean with plugin now. Sorry for taking so long.
