             Bug #: 50954
Summary: Snow Leopard 10.6.8 - TinyOS Oscilloscope -
                    Segmentation Fault
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: gcc
           Version: 4.2.1
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: P3
         Component: other
        AssignedTo: unassigned@gcc.gnu.org
        ReportedBy: moret@berkeley.edu

My OS is MAC OS X 10.6.8, I've TinyOS installed on it.

gcc --version:
i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.2.1 (GCC) 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5666) (dot 3)

It works if I try to build some of the default applications provided by TinyOS
release (like Blink, Null, etc.). But if I try to compile the Oscilloscope
application for telosb motes I get this output:

$ make telosb
mkdir -p build/telosb
compiling OscilloscopeAppC to a telosb binary
ncc -o build/telosb/main.exe -Os -O -fnesc-separator=__ -Wall -Wshadow

-DIDENT_USERNAME=\"Cinese\" -DIDENT_HOSTNAME=\"MacBook-di-Stef\"

GCC 4.2 is no longer maintained. Complain to apple.
