Subject: [Bug c++/51322] New: [C++11] wrong mangling with argument packs
Date: Sun, 27 Nov 2011 18:46:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-51322-4@http.gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/> (raw)

http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=51322

             Bug #: 51322
           Summary: [C++11] wrong mangling with argument packs
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: gcc
           Version: 4.7.0
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: c++
        AssignedTo: unassigned@gcc.gnu.org
        ReportedBy: marc.glisse@normalesup.org

template<class T> struct Ident { typedef T type; };
template<template<class...>class E,class...F> struct A{typedef E<F...> type;};
typedef A<Ident,int> B;
void f(B){}

compiled with g++ -std=c++0x -c, mangles f as _Z1f1AI5IdentIiEE, that is
f(A<Ident<int> >). Note that if I make E a template<class>class (no ellipsis),
the compiler crashes instead (whereas 4.6 used to give a "sorry"). clang
mangles it as _Z1f1AI5IdentJiEE which AFAICT looks ok.
