The installation docs for it clearly say: The --with-gmp=gmpinstalldir option is shorthand for --with-gmp-lib=gmpinstalldir/lib and --with-gmp-include=gmpinstalldir/include. [...] If these shorthand assumptions are not correct, you can use the explicit include and lib options directly.
