For the time being I think we could certainly add a few (not 10 or 20) of the tests tou are talking about, but remember all with the bits for the simulators. We could also easily add some tests to the performance testsuite (there are no limits there and isn't run by default) which, outside the timing loop also check that the computation is correct (well, we should probably allways do that)
