The problem is https://gcc.gnu.org still points to the web area of
sourceware.org rather than gcc.gnu.org.

Until we can get hold of a x509 certificate for the gcc.gnu.org domain (i.e.,
via someone from the FSF, who holds the gnu.org admin contacts), sourceware.org
can only serve https for that alter ego.

(A self-signed key is another possibility, but no one's too keen on that.)

I just verified that https://gcc.gnu.org/PR60119 and
https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=60119
work and show this very bug in an act of self reference. :-)
