gcc version 4.10.0 20140516 (experimental) (GCC) 

The program is:

package main
func main() {
    append([]byte{}, 0)[0]++
}

$ go build -compiler=gccgo src.go
src.go:4:2: error: argument 2 has incompatible type
  append([]byte{}, 0)[0]++


gc compiles successfully.
