I can't reproduce this with the options:
 -march=armv6 -mfloat-abi=hard -mfpu=vfp -mabi=aapcs-linux

on current 4.8.4 (or later).

Is this still a problem?

On the same hardware (Raspberry Pi) I encountered the problem, I can't 
reproduce it. The board has been rebooted several times since I entered 
the bug report.

Today, I rebooted it several times and cycled power several times, the 
problem did not return. If it does return, I'll check to see if it 
persists across a reboot.

Not a problem now.

I'm closing this, suspecting a hardware issue. If you do manage to reproduce it
consistently feel free to reopen with more details
