I built them myself and I thought I was careful about the make checks...but maybe not. But I think you are correct about this. It's almost certainly gmp or mpfr. I went ahead and tried to build them again...and this time I ran into all kinds of trouble. I'll just wait until the Cygwin team builds gcc 5.2 and makes it available. Thanks for your time...
