Since "coarrays" is part of Standard Fortran and not an experimental feature or
an extension, why putting it behind a flag?
There would be a flag to disable it, maybe.
"-fcoarray=single" should be the default.

I agree coarrays should be silently accepted. However "-fcoarray=single" has very little interest beside syntax checking.
