Some random thoughts on the Ada bools though. It would be nice if the Ada FE could leave boolean_type_node untouched so that when the middle-end produces a compare to feed a branch it does not end up using the 8-bit precision bool (because there's no out-of range values to be considered for a compare result). Basically keep the Ada boolean "data type" separate from the middle-end boolean "logical type". That said, I've ventured into the vectorizer detail failing recently and th= us, revisiting for a fix (or rather, [re-]understanding).=
