But as far as I can see this is not a direct internal fn so vectorizable_internal_function shouldn't apply and I do not see the x86 backend handle POPCOUNT in the vectorizable function target hook. So w/o a compiler capable I can't trace how the vectorizer vectorizes this and thus I have no idea where it goes wrong ...=
