That wi= ll leave the attribute spec out of sync with the argument (it contains a '$' f= or each VLA bound). Rather than continuing to the next bound I think we should bail. The alternative is to change the rest of the code (the attribute han= dler and the whole attribute access machinery) to skip these erroneous bounds.=
