GCC requires the freestanding environment provide @code{memcpy}, @code{memmove}, @code{memset} and @code{memcmp}. Finally, if @code{__builtin_trap} is used, and the target does not implement the @code{trap} pattern, then GCC emits a call to @code{abort}.=
