Hi,

I am trying to map some fortran common areas into global memory so it can be
accessed (r/w) by more than one process. We have successful achieved this
under VMS, Tru64 Unix and Windows using native compilers but have been
unable to successfully achieve it with g77 on Red Hat enterprise.

One thing that would help would be the ability to direct the linker to put
the start of the named common on a page boundary ?

Best Regards
