 compiling egcs

error             cc1: Invalid option `-Wno-long-long'

can anyone plese help. if more information required i would pass it on.

There's no such thing as `egcs' any more.  It's GCC, the GNU Compiler
Collection.

Try `make bootstrap', as per the installation instructions.

I'm sorry the Subject line was wrong on my problem.  I was trying to respond
to leaving out main. I get the crt1.0 problem when trying to compile this
simple program below.

This means your program failed to define the main() function.  Maybe
you meant to just compile, not link?  In this case, use `-c'.

I am having a problem with compiling a program on 
Linux 6.2,  The error I receive is:

reference to main:
 
I see a lot of references but no solutions. Does 
anyone have a solution to this problem?
