Subject: failed build of gcc-3.0 on Solaris 7
Date: Tue, 09 Oct 2001 08:49:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <01100911451002.15071@fuller.imcs.rutgers.org> (raw)

I am not a sysadmin, and am relatively new to the world of unix, so please be
patient.

I am trying to install gcc-3.0 on my SPARC5 running Solaris 7. I can include
the majority of the messages displayed during the process, but I expect that
just the bottom is significant, so I will include that only.

I fear that this is probably a problem that somebody else has had, but I have
been unsuccessful in my search of the archive. I apologize in advance for
asking a question that has probably been asked before.

The configure step of the process appeared to run successfully.

Thank you in advance for any assistance in this matter.

Rick
