Subject: Adding library info to elf shared object
Date: Thu, 17 Dec 2009 16:51:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <0NZZCL-1NLFL542Hy-00080F@infong5.kundenserver.de> (raw)
Hi all,
I'm searching for a possibility to add a (length limited) text comment to a
shared object file so that a program is able to read them out and display
them to the user. I need just something additional to the filename and
soname that describes the shared object.
Any ideas how to approach?
I want to use it for linux i386.
Thanks!
Best regards,
Erik
