Can somebody please confirm that gcc 3.1 has broken the -M option?

3.0.4 and previous: gcc -M main.c lists system header file in the
dependencies version gcc 3.1.1 does not.

In version 3.1 there in no difference between -M & -MM
This also has implications for SUNPRO_DEPENDENCIES.

Is this a bug? Has it been reported? Is there a patch?
