Subject: Dumping branch predictions made by gcc
Date: Sat, 01 Nov 2014 08:49:00 -0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1414831755740-1085407.post@n5.nabble.com> (raw)

Hi, I am working on a project on profile based branch predictions. I want to
know whether gcc dumps the branch predictions it made based on profiles or
heuristics? I know gcc outputs the .gcda files when -fprofile-arcs is used.
But I am interested on how gcc uses them and what predictions does it make
