* Preserving GCOV coverage stats after program crash?

If my program crashes (segv) whilst running GCOV dynamic analysis I would
like to preserve the results gathered so far (up to the point the program
crashed). Does anyone know if this is possible? Perhaps GCOV caches
results and flushes to a file infrequently; increasing this frequency could
help? I can't see any obvious switches for what I want.

These partial results could be useful to me post analysis.

Thanks and regards.

S.
