I am getting a little lost. You're a little sparse on information here. What operating system do you use (uname -a)? What kind of distribution? How did you get GCC (self-compiled, installed a binary tarball)? For a RPM based system, you need to install the appropriate libstdc++-devel package (rpmfind.net). If you're using Debian, install the libstdc++3-dev package. HTH Claudio
