I am using GCC v3.0.1 on AIX 5.1 and it seems to be fine. But when I try to compile a file, I get the following name space errors and others: In file included from /usr/local/include/g++-v3/c_shadow/bits/std_cwchar.h:35, from /usr/local/include/g++-v3/cwchar:31, from [cut]/inc/stl/stl/_cwchar .h:31, from [cut]/inc/stl/cwchar:24, from [cut]/inc/stl/stl/char_tr aits.h:31, from [cut]/inc/stl/stl/_iosfwd .h:22, from [cut]/inc/stl/iostream:29 , from [cut]/xml2cmp/source/xcd/main.cxx:62: /usr/local/include/g++-v3/c_shadow/bits/std_cstdio.h: In function `int std::fsca nf(std::FILE*, const char*, ...)': /usr/local/include/g++-v3/c_shadow/bits/std_cstdio.h:195: `vfscanf' undeclared i n namespace `_C_legacy' In file included from /usr/local/include/g++-v3/c_shadow/time.h:42, from /usr/include/wchar.h:39, from [cut]/inc/stl/wchar.h:34, from /usr/local/include/g++-v3/c_shadow/bits/std_cwchar.h:41, from /usr/local/include/g++-v3/cwchar:31, from [cut]/inc/stl/stl/_cwchar .h:31, from [cut]/inc/stl/cwchar:24, from [cut]/inc/stl/stl/char_tr aits.h:31, from [cut]/inc/stl/stl/_iosfwd .h:22, from [cut]/inc/stl/iostream:29 , from [cut]/xml2cmp/source/xcd/main.cxx:62: [cut]/inc/stl/ctime: At global scope: [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:33: `clock_t' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:34: `time_t' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:35: `tm' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:37: `clock' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:38: `asctime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:39: `ctime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:40: `gmtime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:41: `difftime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:42: `mktime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:43: `localtime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:44: `strftime' not declared [cut]/inc/stl/ctime:45: `time' not declared [many more errors - they were cut] Can it be a bug in gcc, or in the sources I try to compile? How can I solve this problem? Any ideas are greatly appreciated! I use gcc v3.0.1 because this is the newest I have in AIX package format. If anyone knows a newer version as an AIX package, please notify me.
