Message-ID: <20030505153121.GA7206@csc> Mail-Followup-To: gcc-help@gcc.gnu.org Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.4i X-SW-Source: 2003-05/txt/msg00038.txt.bz2 I'm *almost* there compiling gnat on a Solaris 8 Sparc system. According to some info I received from Rupert Wood, I downloaded and installed an old copy of gnat 3.13p which seems to allow to bootstrap gcc-3.1.1. For some reason, gnat-3.15p doesn't allow this. *shrug* Anyway, in the process of doing the compile, I almost get to the end of the bootstrap process, when I receive this error: bootstrap comparison failure! make[1]: *** [compare] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/mayne/c/admpubsw/gcc/objgnat/gcc' make: *** [bootstrap] Error 2 anyone have ideas on how to fix this. I've tried a couple different times with the same result. -- Carl B.
