I have just downloaded gcc into my /tmp file on a Solaris box. I have unziped /untared top file in /temp. What is the next step. Your mannual is not clear on what to do.

Hi Josephine;
http://gcc.gnu.org/install/ is the on-line gcc installation manual. This,
in my opinion, should have been bundled with the gcc release...
