Hello,
I am sorry if my doubt is not appropriate here.
A line from linux source is:

   movl $1f, %1 /*Save EIP*/

May anyone explain me how this instruction saves
EIP? (%1 is the structure member holding eip). My
doubt is, what is this $1f and how it copies eip to
%1.

With Regards.
Srinivasan
