./config.guess output is as below:

/usr/bin/oslevel[845]: sed:  not found
/usr/bin/oslevel: Broken pipe
powerpc-ibm-aix

But when I execute which sed, the output is

/opt/freeware/bin/sed

and this is gnu sed.

Now that I have some hint, I will check, what could be the reason and  
let you know again later.
