Subject: compile linux kernel 2.60 failed
Date: Thu, 03 Jan 2013 04:13:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20130103041154.GA2187@debian.localdomain> (raw)
hi:
I am compiling linux 2.6.0 kernel with gcc 4.4.5 and link with ld 2.20 version.
when linking , an error occured :
/usr/bin/ld: arch/i386/kernel/vsyscall-int80.so: Not enough room for program headers, try linking with -N
what does this error mean? this program headers is generated by gcc or ld ?
I suspect that gcc version is not compitable with ld version
is there some suggestion ?
thanks!
