Subject: Link to gcc doesn't work
Date: Mon, 22 Jul 2002 14:25:00 -0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3084FF717C7789438EDFEB147E885CDAC1C1@MAIL> (raw)
I have just installed gcc 3.0.3 on a machine running Solaris 7. I created a
link to run gcc, but I get the following error:
sparc-sun-solaris2.7-gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such
file or directory
When I use the full path name it runs fine. I noticed with verbose output
that when I use the full path, it uses specs from the gcc directory. When I
use the link it uses "builtin specs". Any ideas how I can get the link to
work?
Here is the output from the gcc shortcut command:
[ajm@earth] $ gcc -v helloworld.c -o helloworld > gcclinked
Using builtin specs.
