I'd like to use the new timer functions

add_timer(struct timer_list * timer)
del_timer(struct timer_list * timer)

but I can't link it.

I tried gcc source.c -o exec -ltimer

in source.c I included timer.h

then I get undefined reference to add_timer. I use SuSE 6.2
